Current research demonstrates that it is crucial at this first stage of development for infants to have an opportunity for interaction with loving, caring adults in a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment. The Kangaroo Kids Young Explorer Infant Room is filled happy sounds, smiling faces and diverse opportunities for exploration. 

At this age, children are growing more inquisitive and are learning to explore the sights, sounds, smells and textures of the world around them. They learn through play, experimentation and observation, at their own pace. Waddlers and Toddlers learn best when they feel secure in a warm, loving environment. The relationships they establish with the friendly, caring teachers at Kangaroo Kids help give them the confidence to experiment and the security to meet their new challenges. 

This age is truly the age of “Discovery!” Children are learning academic skills by leaps and bounds! Discovery Preschoolers learn through play, experimentation, observation and a vast array of curriculum experiences. Friendships are becoming an important aspect of their social interactions. They are forming friendships that will last for years to come. 

Preschool years are a time of learning and growing. It is an important time for learning through hands on experiences. Children have an opportunity to explore their world, expand their natural creativity in an environment that is safe and stimulating. Kangaroo Kids provides exciting opportunities for individual explorations as well as meaningful small group interactions. 

Energetic, enthusiastic, and curious, Pre-kindergarten children are between the ages of four and five years old. They are establishing a self-confidence and positive attitude toward learning. Teachers are the catalyst to encourage extended learning opportunities. Children need learning experiences where they can succeed and yet be challenged. Teachers strive to guide children to enjoy the process of learning. 

Our kindergarten program provides the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Children build essential academic and social skills through a curriculum aligned with the local school system, ensuring a smooth transition to elementary school. Each child receives dedicated one-on-one instruction time with the lead teacher, offering support tailored to their unique strengths and learning needs.

Kindergarten is the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Children learn the educational components necessary for a lifelong adventure of learning. We coordinate our program with the local school system so that children progressing to elementary school in a private or public setting are well prepared. 

The School Age program is a before and after school program for children to transition between school and home. Children in the school age program can also enroll for summer camp and for vacation camp when public schools are closed. 

Our integrated curriculum will combine science discovery, math skills, computers, music activities, creative art experiences, cooking adventures, sport skills, water fun and language development with enrichment activities. There will be opportunities for weekly field trips to museums, aquariums, farms, zoos, theaters, science centers, and the 4-H fair. In addition, students can choose to participate in swimming lessons, karate, or gymnastics instruction.
