At Kangaroo Kids, our Young Explorer Infant Room is filled with happy sounds, smiling faces, and diverse opportunities for exploration, laying a strong foundation for infant care that supports future kindergarten prep and preschool programs.

At this age, children are growing more inquisitive and learning to explore the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the world around them. Through play, experimentation, and observation, they learn at their own pace. Waddlers and Toddlers benefit from quality infant care, thriving best in a warm, loving environment. The relationships they build with the friendly, caring teachers at Kangaroo Kids provide them with the confidence to experiment and the security to meet their new challenges. These early experiences also lay a strong foundation for kindergarten prep and are complemented by engaging preschool programs.

This age is truly the age of “Discovery!” Children are learning academic skills by leaps and bounds! At Discovery Preschool, our preschool programs allow preschoolers to learn through play, experimentation, observation, and a vast array of curriculum experiences. Friendships are becoming an important aspect of their social interactions, as they form bonds that will last for years to come. Additionally, our Kangaroo Kids program provides excellent infant care and kindergarten prep to ensure a smooth transition into their educational journey.

Energetic, enthusiastic, and curious, Pre-kindergarten children, typically aged four to five years old, are at a pivotal stage in their development. They are building self-confidence and a positive attitude toward learning, which is essential as they transition from infant care to preschool programs. Kindergarten prep at Kangaroo Kids provides the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our preschool programs ensure children acquire the educational components necessary for a lifelong adventure of learning. We coordinate our program with the local school system so that children progressing to elementary school, whether in a private or public setting, are well prepared. Additionally, our infant care programs support early development, setting the stage for future success.

The School Age program at Kangaroo Kids is a before and after school initiative designed to help children transition smoothly between school and home. In addition to the regular school age offerings, children can also benefit from our summer camp and vacation camp when public schools are closed, making it a perfect complement to our infant care, kindergarten prep, and preschool programs.

At Kangaroo Kids, our integrated curriculum for preschool programs combines science discovery, math skills, computers, music activities, creative art experiences, cooking adventures, sport skills, water fun, and language development with enriching activities. Our approach also includes infant care, ensuring that our youngest learners are nurtured. Students will have opportunities for weekly field trips to museums, aquariums, farms, zoos, theaters, science centers, and the 4-H fair. Additionally, those preparing for kindergarten prep can choose to participate in swimming lessons, karate, or gymnastics instruction.
